A few words about our products
All of our products are made from solid domestic hardwoods such as Walnut, Bird’s Eye Maple, Oak, and Curly Maple, and exotic woods such as Purple heart, Padauk, Leopard wood, and Zebrawood. Our high quality wood products highlight the natural grain and beauty of wood and, at the same time, provide functionality and durability. Most of our wood supply comes from managed forests and the wood is purchased locally to help the Maryland economy. A few words about us
I guess my passion for quality wood products started over 35 years ago when I made a dining room table for my parents in wood shop class in high school. To take a piece of wood and shape it to your desire became a passion with me.

Over the years, I became side-tracked, but always had that passion to create quality wood products that were functional works of art. I had come to a point in my life where creating wood crafts was a terrific hobby and a way to create gifts for friends and family members. I received such a terrific response from them that I decided to take the next step. . .

The Baltimore Cheese Board Co. was founded in January of 2008. Since then, we have been providing our customers with premium quality wood products that highlight the natural grain patterns of the wood. We don’t use stains, paints, or veneers, only clear finishes and treatments. Our pieces are functional works of art!
